Dental play is a variant of medical play where the scene acted out generally involves a dental patient and a dental surgeon.

Enthusiasts of this type of play may acquire a second-hand dental chair to add realism. Activities revolve around the mouth, sometimes having it forced open or held open by wedges or dilators, and then the mouth possibly subsequently used for some sexual activity. The "patient" may be bound to the chair.
