Fire play

Fire play may refer to any of the following:

• The use of fire as part of a mind fuck,
• Applying a highly volatile liquid such as alcohol) to the skin and then igniting the vapour,
• The use of fire or flame in temperature play, or
• The flame on a candle used in wax play.

In addition, fire (or flame) can be used to disinfect needles and blades used in piercing or cutting, respectively.

Finally, the flame of a propane torch is commonly used to provide the heat for hot branding.
