Handcuffs and leg cuffs
(Redirected from Handcuffs)
Handcuffs and legcuffs consist of two solid metal bracelets connected to each other by a short chain. The metal bracelets are locked on to either the wrists or the ankles. Handcuffs and legcuffs are intended to restrain a person and/or limit their ease of movement (e.g., so that instead of being able to run away they can, at best, only shamble away).
Commonly used by police, they also form a part of the standard equipment of many bondage enthusiasts.
In some jurisdictions it is illegal to own or carry handcuffs and legcuffs unless you are a law-enforcement officer.
