Rope bondage (functional)

Functional rope bondage has the purpose of restraining a bottom or submissive, usually to allow subsequent activities to be performed without the bottom/submissive being able to physically resist or interfere.

In function bondage such things as neatness of knots and symmetry of the rope layout are not factors. This is different from decorative rope bondage where the appearance of the finished product is important.

Functional rope bondage can be lead-up to sexual explorations, torture, suspension and the like where the bondage renders the bottom or submissive helpless to resist what is done to them.
