Body piercing

Body piercing generally refers to the practice of piercing a small part of the body to allow a piece of jewellery or some other object to be placed in the hole created. As opposed to be the more BDSM-specific cutting and needle play activities body piercing is frequently done for fashion or decorative reasons, or to make a statement.

Body piercing is commonly done on the following parts of the body:

• Face - nose, lips, eyebrows
• Earlobes
• Nipples
• Navel
• Genitals - penis, clitoris or clitoral hood, labia
